It’s never been easier to implement a product qualified lead (PQL) strategy! Correlated’s new PQL Playbook Builder provides the tooling you need to run a PQL strategy end-to-end, helping you:
- identify product qualified leads,
- create automated playbooks,
- and measure revenue goals and outcomes.
After feedback from our users, community, and many other leaders in the product led space, we’ve completely revamped the design of the Playbook Builder. It’s one of Correlated’s biggest product improvements to date, and we’re excited to announce that it’s now publicly available - you can head over to our website to get started on our free tier!
If you’re a daily Correlated user, you’ll be happy to know that while all of the same core functionality still exists for you to run a top-tier PLG model in Correlated, we've added even more capabilities for you to convert, expand, and cross-sell leads. Plus, we think you’ll love the new look as much as we do.
So, what’s new?
Uncover the product qualified leads most likely to convert
At Correlated, we understand the intricacies of deciphering your company data and breaking down exactly what it means for someone to be “product-qualified.” Especially early-on in your PLG journey, you may be evaluating a very lengthy list of data points before narrowing it down to what really matters.
Correlated puts all your data points at your fingertips, so that you can easily find Leads that meet the conditions that are most likely to drive revenue for your company. While you’ve always been able to capture customers when they meet all of the conditions you define, now you can cast a wider net and pull in customers who may be performing a number of different important actions in your product.
To make the process of crafting the perfect Playbook even more seamless, you’ll now be able to see results in real-time of which customers are immediately meeting the conditions you’ve set.
Just glance to the right-hand side of the screen when you’re building a Playbook to see the exact number of customers who meet the criteria, and a list preview of who those customers are. If anyone is missing from the list that you’d expect to see, you can even adjust those conditions to improve any threshold settings on-the-spot. Faster results means less time playing with targeting, and more time for your team to act on those ready-to-convert leads.
Take the next-best-action for every lead via automation
Running a product led growth initiative across multiple teams can mean a lot of moving parts - testing new strategies and messaging, sending alerts to different channels simultaneously, and even managing periods of time where the team takes their well-deserved PTO.
With Correlated, you can pipe different segments of leads into different playbooks in a completely automated fashion. You can test all these actions in advance and pause workflows as needed. If you’re interested in learning more about our downstream integrations, you can read more about our Personalized Outreach Sequences and Salesforce Task Creation, which are two of our most popular integrations to date.
Monitor your PQL playbooks as they generate leads
We also gave our Playbook tab inside of Correlated a makeover. When you open an existing Playbook in your account, you’ll be greeted with charts to easily visualize and navigate changes over time at the individual Playbook level, so you know what's working (and what’s not). You’ll see the last 30 days of how many total customers triggered the signal, how many actions were sent as a result, and what percent of customers have completed the goal you set (more on this later).
Right below these visuals, you’ll see a clean, comprehensive list of the full Playbook details, because nobody likes a black box. Quickly view exactly when downstream actions are triggered with Activity History, know when customers have entered/exited your Playbook with Signal History, peek into the conditions, actions, and goals that compose your Playbook with Signal Summary, see all active PQLs in one list with Results, and closely monitor the outcomes of your Playbook with Goal Completion.
Track Playbook Conversion Rates
Building and implementing a PLG strategy is one thing, but actually proving it to be successful is a whole separate undertaking. Luckily, reporting on your product-led goals just got simpler with this Correlated update.
For any live Playbooks you’re running, add a “Goal” (or two) to closely track the conversion rates of customers entering your signal. You can use the same product-usage metrics to define these goals as you use to build your Playbooks. Once they’re set up, Correlated will automatically track conversions on a go-forward basis and do the hard work for you.
You can also see a full list of PQLs generated and whether or not they’ve converted via our Goal Completion tab, which contains how many users have triggered your signal, how many have converted to complete the goal, a full list of those customers, an overall conversion rate, and the average number of days it took them to convert - everything you’ll need to evaluate your team’s process.
